Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Axis Technology, LLC and C² Data Technology, LLC (together “we”, “us” or “our”) collect, use and share personal information when you visit axistechnologyllc.com or c2datatechnology.com (the “Websites”), contact us or book a meeting with us.
This policy does not cover data that our customers process using our software or services. When we handle that data, we act on our customers’ instructions under our agreements with them, and each customer’s own privacy notice applies. See “Data we process for our customers” below.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you fill in a form on the Websites (for example the contact, support or demo request forms): your name, email address, phone number, company name, the type of inquiry and your message.
When you book a meeting through our scheduling tool (Calendly): your name, email address, the time you choose and any answers you give in the booking form.
When you email or call us: your contact details and what you tell us.
Information collected automatically When you use the Websites, we and our service providers collect some information automatically through cookies and similar technologies: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site that referred you, the date and time of your visit and your approximate location based on your IP address.
Information from other sources We do not buy personal information about you from third parties.
We do not ask for sensitive information (such as health or financial account details) through the Websites. Please do not send it through our forms.
2. How we use your information
To answer your questions and requests, including demo, trial and support requests, and to follow up on them.
To schedule and hold meetings with you.
To run, secure and improve the Websites, including measuring how they are used.
To comply with the law and to protect our rights and the rights of others.
We do not send marketing newsletters, and we do not use your information for advertising.
Legal bases (EEA and UK visitors). We rely on your consent (for analytics cookies), our legitimate interests (answering business inquiries, keeping the Websites secure and improving them), steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract, and our legal obligations.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use the Websites. It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<ID>. You can also opt out with Google’s browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Our website platform (Framer) records basic page statistics so the Websites can be hosted and measured.
Calendly (the scheduling tool on our contact page) and Google Maps (the office map) are shown inside our pages. When you use them, these providers may set their own cookies and collect information under their own privacy policies.
Your choice. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse non-essential cookies, such as analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the cookies for our Websites in your browser, which shows the banner again. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the Websites may not work as well without them.
4. How we share your information
We share personal information only as described here:
Service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting (Framer), analytics (Google), scheduling (Calendly), and the email and office software we use. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
Professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants and insurers, where needed.
Legal reasons: to comply with the law, a court order or a lawful request, or to protect our rights, users or others.
Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that deal.
With your consent, or at your direction.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
5. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. When we transfer personal information from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we use safeguards required by law, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK addendum.
6. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, for example for the length of our business conversation with you and a reasonable period after it, or longer where the law requires. Analytics data is kept according to our analytics settings. When we no longer need information, we delete or anonymise it.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No website or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
EEA and UK residents. You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
US residents. Depending on the state you live in (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with privacy laws), you may have the right to:
know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, and get a copy of it;
correct inaccurate personal information;
delete personal information;
opt out of the sale of personal information, sharing for targeted advertising, and certain profiling (we do not do these);
appeal our decision on your request; and
not be treated differently for using these rights.
You can make a request yourself or through an authorised agent. We will need to verify your identity before we act, and we may ask the agent for proof that you authorised them.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser. There is no common standard for “Do Not Track” signals, so the Websites do not respond to them.
How to make a request. Email legal@axistechnologyllc.com (Axis Technology) or legal@c2datatechnology.com (C² Data Technology), or write to us at the address below. We will respond within the time the law requires (for example one month under the GDPR and 45 days under California law).

9. Data we process for our customers
Our customers use our software and services to find and protect sensitive data in their own systems. When we process that data, we act as a service provider or processor on our customer’s instructions. If your information is in one of our customers’ systems and you want to use your privacy rights, please contact that customer.
